This is a resource I use for students that require Travel Training sessions. In order to develop transferable skills, students are required to plan journeys on public transport. This resource is a scenario where students can plan a trip to their local Odeon cinema. You just need to add the appropriate info (street names etc.) for your local area! It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills.

A Scheme of Work Year Plan (year overview) for the ICT/Computing Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ) for Entry Level 3 & Level 1. The year plan uses the Pearson curriculum specification (although can easily be adapted to suit other awarding bodies such as NOCN or OCN). Starting the academic year 2024-2025. Useful as a guide when creating your schemes of work or can be put at the front of students’ folders to chart progress. Ideal for SEN students, the course curriculum is spaced out through the year to allow plenty of time for completion and repeat assessments if needed. I use this resource for students completing the EDSQ Essential Digital Skills Qualification. ICT/IT tutors can use the evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have demonstrated practical ICT/IT skills or completed paperwork for their EDSQ course. I use this resource for students completing the NOCN (National Open College Network) Entry Level 3 Road Safety Awareness for Pedestrians course. Tutors can use the 5 evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have completed paperwork for their NOCN Road Safety Awareness for Pedestrians E3 course. This is a resource I use for SEN students who are completing Art sessions. At the beginning of the year, the students state what their Art EHCP goal is and how they will achieve it in sessions. This resource is then used to review progress and achievement half way through the year and again at the end of the year. (See accompanying Art EHCP goal set up sheet.)

This resource can be used with students that require support around building social skills. This is an activity where students can list 6 conversations starters on the sheet, before writing them onto a cube net and creating a conversation starter dice. You could use it as a social skills activity during Travel Training sessions, where students are encourage to practice good social skills in the local community; or used as evidence towards the Rarpa, PfA - Preparing for Adulthood target of Friends, Relationships & Community Skills.
